Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 28 May 2026

1. Who we are

This website and the wagering services offered on it ("PAIMERBETT", "we", "us") are operated by Palmer Bookmaking Pty Ltd, ABN 89 154 794 411, ACN 154 794 411, of C/- Canterbury Raceway, 98 King Street, Canterbury NSW 2193. We hold wagering licence 5521/2023/WB, issued by Liquor & Gaming NSW.

2. Acceptance of these terms

By registering for an account, depositing funds or placing a bet, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions, our Privacy Policy, our Cookie Policy and our Responsible Gambling Policy.

3. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years of age.
  • You must be physically located in Australia when you access betting services.
  • You must not be self-excluded through us or registered on BetStop.
  • Directors, employees and their immediate family of Palmer Bookmaking Pty Ltd may not hold an account.

It is an offence for a person under the age of 18 to open an account or place a bet. We verify age and may request proof at any time.

4. Your account

You may hold only one account. Accounts are personal to you; you must not let anyone else use your account or bet on your behalf. Keep your login details secure — you are responsible for activity on your account. Provide accurate information and keep it current. We may suspend or close accounts that are duplicated, opened with false details, or used by a third party.

5. Identity verification (KYC)

Australian law requires us to verify your identity. We may ask you to provide government-issued ID, proof of address, proof of payment method and source-of-funds information. We may withhold deposits, bets or withdrawals until verification is complete, and may close an account where verification cannot be completed. Full details are in our AML/CTF, Identity & Source of Funds page.

6. Deposits & withdrawals

Deposit using the methods shown in your account. We do not accept credit cards: Australian law prohibits credit-card deposits for online wagering, so deposits are made by debit card, PayID or bank transfer. Withdrawals are paid to a verified account in your name once any required checks are complete. Processing times depend on your payment provider. We may apply deposit limits and will always honour a limit you have set. We do not charge to deposit or withdraw, though your provider might. See our Account Closure & Withdrawals page for full details.

7. No inducements or bonuses

Consistent with the Betting & Racing Act 1998 (NSW), we do not offer or advertise inducements to open an account, to refer others, or to bet — including bonus bets, free bets, deposit matches or sign-up offers. Any communication suggesting otherwise is not authorised by us. See our Promotional Terms.

8. Bets, odds & errors

A bet is accepted only when confirmed by our system and shown in your account. Odds can change at any time before a bet is accepted. We may refuse or limit a bet. Where a bet is placed or accepted at a price that is materially wrong due to an obvious or palpable error (for example a clear pricing or data mistake), or where an event is abandoned, postponed or void under the relevant market rules, we may void the bet and return the stake.

8.1 Maximum payout limits

Total winnings payable to an account on any event or day are subject to maximum payout limits, which vary by sport and market type and are shown in the relevant market rules. Where a bet would return more than the applicable maximum, winnings are capped at that maximum.

8.2 Maximum stake limits

We may set and vary maximum stake (bet) limits by market, event or account, and may accept all, part or none of a requested stake. The accepted stake is the amount confirmed in your account.

8.3 Bet cancellation & void scenarios

A bet may be cancelled or made void and the stake returned where, for example: the event does not take place within the period stated in the market; a market is suspended or settled in error; a selection is a non-participant; an obvious or palpable pricing error applies; or where required by the rules of the relevant controlling body. Void legs in a multi are removed and the multi is recalculated on the remaining legs.

8.4 Late betting rule

Bets are pre-event only. Any bet received or accepted after the official start of an event — for example due to a delay in our systems or a feed — is void and the stake returned, even if shown as accepted, unless it was struck on a market expressly offered after the start. We do not offer in-play (live) betting.

8.5 Cash-out

Where cash-out is offered on a selection, it lets you settle a bet early for a value we calculate from current prices. Cash-out is offered at our discretion, the value shown is indicative, and the feature may be unavailable or withdrawn at any time (for example when a market is suspended). Once a cash-out is confirmed it is final and the bet is settled at the cashed-out amount regardless of the eventual result.

8.6 Dead-heat rules

Where two or more selections dead-heat for a position, the stake on the affected selection is divided by the number of runners/selections dead-heating for that place and settled at the full odds on the divided stake. The balance of the stake is lost.

8.7 Rule 4 deductions (racing)

If a runner is withdrawn after a fixed-odds market is framed and before it is reformed, fixed-odds bets on other runners are subject to a deduction (a "Rule 4" deduction) proportional to the withdrawn runner's price at the time of withdrawal, in line with standard racing deductions. Deductions are applied to winnings, not to the stake.

9. Acceptable use

You must not use the service for any unlawful purpose, attempt to manipulate markets, use automated systems or collude with others, or infringe our intellectual property. Content on this site is owned by us or our licensors. Conduct that undermines market integrity is dealt with under our Integrity & Anti-Match-Fixing page.

10. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for events outside our reasonable control. Our total liability is limited to the extent permitted by law.

11. Closing an account

You can close your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or close an account to comply with the law, our licence, or these terms. On closure we return any withdrawable balance to a verified account in your name. See Account Closure & Withdrawals. If your reason relates to gambling harm, consider self-exclusion instead.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will post the updated version here with a new "last updated" date and, where changes are material, take reasonable steps to notify you before they take effect.

13. Complaints & disputes

If something goes wrong, we want to hear about it and put it right. Full details of our complaints process are on our Complaints & Disputes page, but in summary:

  1. Contact support — email support@paimerbett.com or use our contact form. We will acknowledge your complaint within 5 business days.
  2. Formal review — if unresolved at Step 1, request a formal review from our Compliance team. We will provide a written final decision within 30 calendar days.
  3. External escalation — if you are not satisfied with our final decision, you may escalate to the body relevant to your matter:
    • Liquor & Gaming NSW — our wagering regulator (liquorandgaming.nsw.gov.au).
    • NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal (NCAT) — for consumer disputes in New South Wales (ncat.nsw.gov.au).
    • Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) — for privacy complaints (oaic.gov.au).
    • Australian Financial Complaints Authority (AFCA) — for complaints about payment processing handled by a member financial firm (afca.org.au).
    • Mediation — for larger disputes, we may agree to independent mediation (for example through a recognised dispute-resolution or mediation service) as an alternative to court.
    • Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) — for general consumer matters (accc.gov.au).

For bet disputes, the official result declared by the relevant controlling body is determinative.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
